Either way they funnel into my cone of death.

Build in the southeast edge of the undead mounds. There's great access to stone, iron, wood, and high tier thralls, and the all important obelisk is very close. There's water for fishing, and bark and plant matter in decent quality for small scale work. We were thinking near the sinkhole due to its central location but I've been reading on here that that doesn't really matter and I guess with an obelisk it doesn't. I usually start a base on an island near the center along the river. It's a decent sized island between two long ones. Just north of it is a large pond with a huge (minable rock) on the east side of it. The bobcats give thick hide, and at the dungeon you have easy access to Black Ice, Brimstone and Crimson Lotus, as well as all the gossamer and silk from the spiders at that dungeon. Siptah is much much easier from a resource perspective with things like Black Ice, Star Metal and Brimstone easily being found without strict weather conditions. 4. If you are looking to farm thralls, don’t be stupid and farm Sepermeru like other people have stated but rather build an enclosed wheel of pain near the Mounds of the Dead and farm it hard, the fighter thralls are some of the best in the game. 1.
